IN THE COMMUNITY
Our company has taken an active role in addressing some of the challenges in our community and providing support to causes close to the families of our employees.
- In 2008, we donated HUF 8M to the Dept. of Obstetrics, Székesfehérvár Szent György Hospital. The funds were used for purchasing 4 new delivery beds.
- In 2009, we purchased a HUF 6M Video EEG equipment for the Dept. of Pediatrics, Székesfehérvár Szent György Hospital.
- In 2010, we donated HUF 5.5M to the Dept. of Obstetrics, Székesfehérvár Szent György Hospital. The funds were used for purchasing diagnostic devices.
- In 2012, we donated HUF 1.5M to the For Fejér County’s Children Foundation.
- In 2013, we donated HUF 1.5M to the For Fejér County’s Children Foundation and HUF 1M to the Hungarian SM Society.
- In 2014, we donated HUF 2M to the For Fejér County’s Children Foundation.
- In 2015, we donated 1M to the Hungarian SM Society.
- In 2016, we purchased kitchen equipment, refrigerators and microwave owens, worth HUF 800K for the Dept. of Pediatrics, Székesfehérvár Szent György Hospital to support the comfort and recovery of the children treated in the hospital.
- In 2017, we donated HUF 1M to the Whole Life Social Foundation providing summer camp activities to disadvantaged adolescents and youth.
- In 2019, we donated HUF 2M to the For Fejér County’s Children Foundation and purchased chairs worth HUF 500K for the Dept. of Pediatrics, Székesfehérvár Szent György Hospital.
- In 2020, we donated HUF 1M to the COVID-19 Foundation of City of Székesfehérvár, 1M to the GBS treatment found of a 2.5 year old child called Zsombor, and HUF2M to the For Fejér County’s Children Foundation.
- In 2021, we provided 1 million HUF aid for the One Step Ahead for Zalán’s Health Foundation (Lépéselőnyben Zalán Egészségéért Alapítvány). Zalán was two-and- a-half-month-old when he was diagnosed with a tumour in the eye. He was treated in Hungary for 6 years, however, unfortunately, the treatment was unsuccessful. In 2019, it was found in Switzerland that the tumour is an extremely rare one. Since then, Zalán has been treated in Switzerland, with shorter or longer breaks in between the treatments. Our Company provided aid for his treatments in 2022, which cost 19 million HUF in total.
- In March 2022, we provided 500,000 HUF aid for the refugees arriving in Hungary due to the Russia-Ukraine war via the Hungarian Interchurch Aid.
- In December 2022, we donated 1,000,000 HUF to support little Tomika Galó, a young boy diagnosed with SMA1. Tomika was only six months old when his condition was discovered. His biggest challenge is swallowing, as even at the age of five, he can only be fed from a bottle while lying down. The only solution for him would be the Zolgensma gene therapy treatment, which costs 760 million HUF.
- In February 2023, we donated 300,000 HUF to support the majorette group through the Zichyújfalu Sports Association. Thanks to this donation, they were able to participate in an international dance qualification competition.
- Also in February 2023, we supported the Pákozd Cultural Association with 300,000 HUF, which enabled them to purchase performance costumes for the Kis Pipacsos Dance Group.
- In December 2023, we donated 500,000 HUF to Bátor Tábor, an organization that provides experience therapy camps for seriously ill children, and another 500,000 HUF to the Démétér Foundation. The Démétér Houses offer accommodation for children undergoing bone marrow transplants and their families during the recovery process.
- In December 2024, we supported the Adni Jó Kupa Baráti Kör Foundation by donating 1 million HUF to help those in need. The foundation maintains ongoing relationships with several children's homes, elderly care facilities, and animal shelters. They also provide essential food supplies to disadvantaged families through donations.
- Additionally, we donated 500,000 HUF specifically to support Bogi’s recovery and improve her living conditions. Boglárka Csenge Balla and her family were involved in a car accident on June 21, 2024, while returning home from her graduation ceremony. As a result of the accident, Bogi sustained severe, life-threatening injuries, including fractured vertebrae and spinal cord damage. She is unable to move her arms and legs and relies on a ventilator to breathe. On October 21, 2024, she underwent a diaphragm pacemaker surgery. Following the procedure, she began rehabilitation in hopes of achieving any possible improvement in her mobility. Due to her current condition, it is necessary to modify her room and make the entire house wheelchair accessible.
- We established contact with the Vadvirág Children's Home in Velence and surprised the children with Santa Claus gift packages. Additionally, before Christmas, we purchased hygiene kits for them.
- January 2025: We donated 350,000 HUF to the Adni Jó Kupa Baráti Kör Foundation, through which we once again supported Balla Bogi. The foundation purchased a pulse oximeter with a charger and a pair of hand rehabilitation robotic gloves, helping to ease Bogi’s home care and rehabilitation.
- February 2025: We supported the young residents of the Velence Children's Home with non-perishable food and hygiene packages.
